Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on Android in UAE Q4 2022

During Q4 2022, several carpooling and ridesharing apps on the Android platform saw varying performance metrics in the United Arab Emirates. Below, we analyze the weekly downloads and active users for the top 5 apps in this category.

Careem – rides, food & more experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at 13.4K in late September and dipping to a low of 7.7K by mid-October. However, by the end of December, downloads had rebounded to approximately 12.6K. Active users saw a slight decline from 55.5K in late September to 49.2K in early November, before climbing back to 52.1K by the end of the quarter.
